Michel Schettert (Belém do Pará, 1989) is a filmmaker. He researches the transmediality of audiovisual artistic languages. He has training in Communication, Photography, Radio and TV, Advertising, Cinema, Visual Arts, Musical Production and Digital Audiovisual Contents. Currently, Michel works as the content coordinator for the project "Sérgio Ricardo Memória Viva", an online collection dedicated to Sérgio Ricardo activated by the engagement of social networks.

/ ARTICLES A/VIn 1974, Sérgio Ricardo’s A Noite do Espantalho, shot entirely in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, was shown at the New York Film Festival. It was not until forty five years later, when Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles’s Bacurau came to the New York Film Festival in 2019, that Ricardo returned to New York City, this time through song.
